The Papa Ben's Brittle Story
We make all of Papa Ben's Peanut Brittle by hand in a small kitchen in Boulder, Colorado.
Our delicious, gourmet peanut brittle was created over 60 years ago in a small kitchen in Decatur, Indiana by Papa Ben Eichenauer.
Papa Ben
Wanting to make simple holiday presents for family and friends, he started the tradition of home-made peanut brittle. He passed the recipe down to his son John who has been keeping the family tradition alive for 35 years. In 2007 John and his wife Fran decided to launch Papa Ben’s Brittle, a small candy company in his honor.
